This resource was created as the main teacher’s resource for Lunar New Year, to be used alongside the current year’s Lunar New Year resource.

Lunar New Year is an important time of year for many people in Australia from many different Asian communities. It has a long and rich history, and this resource allows teachers and students to gain a deeper understanding of its importance to many people in Australia and across the world. Learners will discover how Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese communities mark this significant cultural event this year; allowing a deeper connection to the diverse customs and traditions in our schools and communities.
