As the multicultural and diverse fabric of Australia evolves, we continue to invest in community initiatives, inspired by our Charter, to deepen our connections with Australians, new and old, and to increase respect and understanding within society as a whole.

We support and extend our distinctive network programming with community engagement activities across Australia. This includes:
- Working with communities to help tell their important stories
- Hosting in-person events and supporting cultural celebrations
- Developing partnerships that improve the depth and breadth of SBS’s impact and help to build social cohesion
- Providing classroom resources to drive constructive, national conversations
- Delivering multi-platform services for newly arrived migrants.
SBS also works with industry, the production sector and communities to build pathways and invest in the continued development of a strong, successful and inclusive Australian media.
